After knocking off Colorado 56-28 this past Saturday, USC has positioned themselves to make it to the PAC-12 championship game, as they are in first place in the south division of the conference. They have already knocked off Stanford, and Oregon is not on their schedule for a second consecutive season, so running the table the rest of the way in their conference schedule is very possible.

Crenshaw has dominated Dorsey over the past seven years, with most of the games being blowouts. But this year, many thought that Dorsey would give their long-time rival a run for their money.

Walk into L.A. Sands Boxing Gym in Downtown Los Angeles, and you will find people getting it on. They are throwing punches, working on their foot work, and keeping their bodies in motion while working up a sweat.

Dorsey High School’s Alexander Madueke has many great attributes, but two in particular can take him a long way. He is intelligent, and he has a really strong right arm. He has a 3.5 grade point average, and from right field on the baseball field, he can throw base runners out at home plate. He can hit really well, too.

Rugby is one of the toughest sports in the world. It has the same type of contact as American football, but without the pads. Because of the physical nature of the sport, it is mostly played by men, but for athletes such as View Park Prep’s Elona Williams, the rough nature of the sport is perfect for her.

Recently, 256 college football players realized their dreams of being drafted into the NFL. Years of grinding their way through youth, high school, and college football has brought them to their moment. But for some people who are trying to be clever, they have taken this special moment and replaced it with their own agenda, whatever that may be.

Crenshaw High School’s Clavacia Smith doesn’t like idle time, which has led him to a 3.5 grade point average while playing offensive line on the football team, even though he is only 6’2”, 205 pounds.
