After what seemed like months of buildup, we finally got to see “Fear the Walking Dead” on Sunday night.

Fans of the original show, about a group of human survivors in a post-apocalyptic Southeast U.S. overrun with zombies, tuned in to learn about the origins of the outbreak.

This companion series to “The Walking Dead” explores the early days of the zombie apocalypse in Los Angeles. The story is told through the eyes of a blended family whose members are just beginning to realize that something around them is going terribly wrong.

Nowadays, two of the best-known women in computer science might just be characters on a TV show.

NBC is going to be a very new network come fall. The peacock network was first out of the gate on Sunday with its new schedule, after canceling a number of series in recent days. After ratings failed to live up to expectations on a few nights this season, the network is starting over with some new shows.

It’s not just a pun. “May the 4th be with you” is a full-fledged unofficial holiday, “Star Wars Day.” Actually, as far as Lucasfilm and Disney are concerned, it’s quite official. So why this day, and what is there to do other than watch it trend on Twitter? (After all, it’s apparently important enough to send hardcore fans into a tizzy when they feel it’s been mistreated.)

You can call him… Joker. We’ve seen a few teases so far, but on Friday night, director David Ayer gave us the first full look at Jared Leto as the Joker. The Clown Prince of Crime will appear in 2016’s “Suicide Squad,” the first movie featuring the best-known comic book villain, where (as far as we know anyway), there is no Batman present.
