Poetry is a free flowing form of art. There is a very loose base structure for poetry, but there is no real rigid definition of how a poem is supposed to be designed, making it both easy and difficult to produce.

National Night Out unites communities against crime
The National Association of Town Watch (NATW) celebrated its 31st National Night Out (NNO), which has gained worldwide support since its inception in 1984. In 2013 NNO involved 16,242 communities including over 37.8 million people from all 50 U.S. states, U.S. territories, Canada, and military bases all around the world, and this year the numbers were expected to increase dramatically.

Cal State Domingez Hills hosts student-run fashion show
The Pan African Union at California State University, Dominguez Hills recently held its eighth annual benefit fashion show in the ballroom of Locker Student Union. The show was student run and sponsored by groups such as Project Pit, Toro Productions, and Associated Students Inc. Outside vendors such as Cynique Fashion Jewelry, Shoe Traffic, Douglass Designs Unlimited, and Pretty Black Boutique also showed support for the fashion show and erected small vending tables with merchandise available for purchase throughout the show. The show also featured celebrity hostess Camilla Poindexter, current model and prominent star in the television show Bad Girls Club. Guest judges for the show included local fashion duo Norris Ford and Quentin Thrash (NORRISxTHRASH).
