After multiple complaints of a severe foul odor from Hollywood area residents, a body was discovered inside of a vehicle at a Hollywood area tow yard Tuesday morning. In a shared comment provided to Our Weekly from LAPD, the owner of the vehicle is unknown, despite multiple reports from mainstream media outlets that state the vehicle is allegedly a Tesla registered to singer 20-year-old D4vd.

“We cannot confirm or deny the owner of the vehicle”, authorities said to Our Weekly.
Law enforcement responded on Monday at 12:20pm, after a complaint was filed about a horrible smell coming from an impounded vehicle on the 100 block of N. Mansfield Avenue, according to the police. LAPD told Our Weekly that “detectives responded and located possible human remains.”

LAPD officials told Our Weekly they have now launched “a death investigation” as of Tuesday at 10:30am. Police officials say that the body was found inside of a bag, the identity of the person is unknown, and there is no other immediate information available, LAPD confirmed with Our Weekly.

Our Weekly has contacted the alleged tow yard of the Tesla, Hollywood Tow, and the company refused to confirm any details but did provide a comment. “We are no longer commenting on this issue and suggest you contact the LAPD,” said a spokesperson from Hollywood Tow yard.

News outlets such as ABC7 and TMZ have received confirmation from LAPD that the vehicle belongs to D4vd, human remains were found. LAPD did not confirm or deny the ownership of the vehicle or if human remains were found to Our Weekly.

D4vd, whose real name is David Anthony Burke, is best known for chart topping hits such as “Romantic Homicide,” “Feel It” and “Here With Me”. The music artist was expected to perform this Tuesday as he is in the middle of his “Withered” tour run, which began in August. D4vd’s debut album, “Withered,” was released in April.

A rep for the singer did confirm with NBC Los Angeles he is cooperating with LAPD for the investigation. Our weekly has reached out to representatives of D4vd for comment but have not received a response
