Festival season has started, and if you didn’t know, Pier Play is making its return to Santa Monica this weekend. Following the success of its 2024 debut, PIER PLAY returns with a bold mission: to redefine how communities engage with public space through immersive art, music, and cultural storytelling.
Launched as RASA’s flagship coastal experience, PIER PLAY captivated audiences last year by turning the historic pier into a platform for innovation and connection, featuring world-class DJs like Magdalena and Enamour. This year’s lineup continues that trajectory with a roster of global talent, including Stavroz, Gheist, Yamagucci, and Chambord—delivering a soundscape as unforgettable as the setting.
“We set out to reflect the heartbeat of the pier—a place always pulsing with life and imagination,” said Ahmad Muhaisen, CEO and Co-Founder of RASA. “This year, we’re building on that momentum with new experiences that ignite joy, spark creativity, and gather people in one of the city’s most iconic spaces.”
With immersive performances, sensory-rich environments, and expanded programming, PIER PLAY 2025 continues to blur the lines between show and shared experience—between past and future, memory and possibility.
RASA’s approach has resonated widely—with grassroots artists, global performers, and brand partners alike. By sourcing talent and vendors across Southern California and beyond, PIER PLAY reinforces the pier’s role as a space of cultural exchange and forward-thinking innovation.
“Technology has empowered us to deliver more than moments—we’re building a model that delivers memory and meaning at scale,” said Faisal Malas, Chief Growth Officer. “The beauty of PIER PLAY is that it feels both expansive and intimate. That’s the magic we’re chasing—and sharing—with the world.”
