The WNBA’s Los Angeles Sparks (LA Sparks) have been hitting the ground running during their recent season but have had some losses.
On May 18 they played against the Minnesota Lynx at the Crypto.com Arena. Despite putting up a good fight, the Lynx took home a win with a score of 89-75, which is their ninth consecutive victory against the LA Sparks.
Azuraa Stevens, Dearicka Homby, got the LA Sparks off to a strong start with the help of Kelsey Plum. By halftime, they were one point away from their opponents. By the third quarter, the Lynx left the LA Sparks in dust as they had a steadfast 9-0 run. Unfortunately, Plum made a foul very late in the game which hurt the Sparks chances of a win.
