One person was killed and two other people were injured when a vehicle crashed into a barbed-wire fence in Palmdale, authorities said today.
CHP officers responded at 10:09 p.m. Monday to 50th Street East and East Avenue P after receiving a call from the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department regarding a vehicle that was driven into a ditch, where it then crashed into the fence, CHP Officer Sergio Garcia told City News Service.
One person was pronounced dead at the scene. Paramedics rushed two people to a hospital, according to a Los Angeles County Fire Department public information officer. Their conditions were not immediately known.
The cause of the crash was under investigation.
