E4E began at George Washington Preparatory High School (GWPHS) in Los Angeles as an on-campus service organization named the EMPERORS. After graduation, some students attended college, began careers in public service, worked in the private sector, and others served our country in the military.
Many stayed in contact with one another and decided to get together in L.A reunion of sorts. During that time, they visited their alma mater and spent a day on campus visiting classes and encouraging students. Eventually, they decided to form EMPERORS FOREVER. An incorporated and earned nonprofit 501(c)(3) status in 2021.
“E4E NEXT STEP GRANT” offers resources to graduating senior students at Washington Prep and the surrounding community that can be utilized for college studies (four or two years), vocational training, or entrepreneurial ventures. With donations collected solely from EMPERORS across the country, we awarded deserving graduates of GWPHS grants in the spring of 2022 and 2023.
