Get in the holiday spirit with Palmdale’s Pines and Presents Tree Lot! The lot will be open daily through Dec. 22– or until trees are sold out– at the Palmdale Auto Mall, located at 39050 Carriage Way. It will be open from 2 to 8 p.m. Monday through Thursday, and from noon to 8 p.m. Friday through Sunday.
“We’re excited to launch this first-of-its-kind tree lot in Palmdale, which is sure to bring joy and laughter to our community,” said Palmdale Mayor Austin Bishop. “I am excited to experience the magic of being surrounded by the smell of pine trees, jolly decorations and so many families preparing for the holidays.”
The Pines and Presents Tree Lot will have plenty of activities for the whole family to enjoy throughout the week, including daily DIY crafts for $5-10, such as ornament and cookie decorating and sand art. There will also be a station to write letters to Santa, comfortable seating to soak in the ambiance, festive holiday music and decorations and plenty of photo opportunities to create lasting memories. Participants are encouraged to donate a new, unwrapped toy to benefit The WOW Flower Project. All who donate to the toy drive will receive a $10 off coupon toward a purchase at the tree lot.
On Saturdays and Sundays, attendees can enjoy complimentary cookies and hot cocoa — perfect for warming up from the December chill — while supplies last. To add to the magic, live carolers will perform on Saturdays from 5 to 7 p.m. Plus, bring the whole family for a visit to a free petting zoo on weekends (weather permitting), and a special photo opportunity with Santa. Capture the joy of the season by taking a free photo using your personal phone with Santa, or purchase a commemorative print in a festive frame for $10 to cherish for years to come.
“The Pines and Presents Tree Lot is an exciting new event for our community, offering a wide selection of trees, stands and wreaths, as well as plenty of activities for all ages,” said Palmdale Mayor Pro Tem Richard J. Loa. “It is also a great opportunity to give back by bringing gifts for The WOW Flower Project. This local business, which just opened its doors recently, will be collecting and donating toys to Angel Tree to help children in need feel loved and cared for this season.”
Angel Tree helps churches reconnect incarcerated parents with their children by delivering gifts and messages of love. Those who donate new, unwrapped toys in person for children aged birth to 18 will receive a $10 off voucher towards their purchase at the tree lot.
