Celebrate the winter season at Palmdale’s Jolly Holiday! The City’s one-day celebration will take place on Saturday, Dec. 7 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Palmdale Amphitheater, located at 2723 Rancho Vista Blvd. “As part of the City’s annual holiday festivities, this free event is the perfect way for Palmdale to experience the magic of community during December,” said Palmdale Mayor Austin Bishop. “I am excited to witness the joy and laughter that comes with so many family activities bringing our residents together.”
Attendees can look forward to chilly fun in the snow play area, where children 12 or younger can enjoy playing in the show and building snowmen. The snow tubing experience, open to ages 3 and up, will provide an exhilarating trip down a snow hill that will be sure to get everyone smiling. Other activities for residents include carnival games, holiday-themed miniature golf, a festive market, a craft-making station and so much more.
Mr. and Mrs. Claus will be making a special appearance but watch out—the Grinch will be there too! Children can meet them all and take photos to remember the day. Enjoy the sounds of the season provided by the singing group, The Holiday Carolers, and indulge in your favorite winter treats, including hot cocoa, popcorn, cookies and a variety of food trucks to warm up from the snow and December chill.
“I look forward to Jolly Holiday every year,” said Palmdale Mayor Pro Tem Richard J. Loa. “The Palmdale Amphitheater always does a great job of creating a merry atmosphere and bringing the community together. You won’t want to miss this wonderful event filled with the true spirit of the season, joy and unity.” Don’t forget to wear warm clothing, gloves and boots for the snow activities!
