The 92nd Annual Hollywood Christmas Parade Supporting Marine Toys for Tots is making its annual return this year. After 92 years of celebrating a joyous time with celebrity guests, such as actress Raven Symone, Councilman Marqueece Harris-Dawson, Councilwoman Heather Hutt, actor Tanisha Harper, and actor Chelsea Tavares, will attend the event. A community staple for over 90 years, the City of Los Angeles will also have star-studded performances of various artists singing Christmas carols and high school bands marching through the parade, keeping onlookers on their toes with exciting sounds and tunes.
Former legendary TV host Montel Williams, of his own self-titled daytime talk show, will be the man of the hour as one of the hosts of the celebration, along with Dean Cain, Laura McKenzie and Elizabeth Stanton. Williams is also a producer and actor in television shows and films such as “All My Children,” “Military Makeover with Montel” and “Unconditional.”
Raven Symone is one of Hollywood’s most successful Black women and is best known for her role as Olivia on “The Cosby Show” and Raven Baxter on the Disney Channel hit shows “That’s So Raven” and “Raven’s Home.” Tanisha Harper is an actor, model, and television host best known for her role as Jordan Ashford in “General Hospital.” She has also graced the screens of “The Bold and the Beautiful,” “Project Runway,” and “Dear White People.”
Los Angeles City Council President of District 8, Marqueece Harris-Dawson, has co-authored Proposition HHH, a $1.2 billion financial proposal for permanent supportive housing— will attend the Christmas Parade on behalf of the City. Dawson, who is originally from the South LA area, has remained committed to public service and uplifting the community since 2015. He took office in September and is gearing up to prepare Los Angeles for the Olympics in 2028.
Los Angeles City Councilwoman of District 10, Heather Hutt, is known as the first Black woman and first woman in history to be a voting member for the district of California. She will be at the 92nd Christmas Day Parade Anniversary as a representative of the City of Los Angeles. Hutt was born in Los Angeles and has dedicated over 30 years to community advocacy, public service and advocacy for women.
Actor Chelsea Tavares, best known for her role as Patience on the CW TV series “All American,” will also show up for the festivities. Other notable stars who will be in attendance, among many, include Jeremy Renner, Mario Lopez, Denise Richards, and Clay Aiken.
The live parade will be Sunday, Dec. 1, 2024, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm PST and will be located at 7051 Hollywood Blvd., Hollywood, CA 90028, on Sycamore Street. A live telecast will air on the CW Network Saturday, Dec. 14, 2024, at 8:00 pm EST/PST.
