As Black Music Month comes to a close, many Los Angeles residents are looking for a final opportunity to enjoy a musical event in any capacity. For South Los Angeles residents, there are many events that are open and available to the public. One event in particular is the Inglewood Music Fest, scheduled June 29 from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. at Darby Park, 3400 W. Arbor Vitae St., in Inglewood.
The music fest is free. All donations will go towards the Inglewood Unified School District’s band performance in Washington D.C. In addition to music, the venue will have a variety of food choices and interactive activities for all ages.
The event will feature artists like Ambrosia, Eric Darius, Lakeside w/ Mark Wood, Louie Cruz Beltran, Durti Ryce, A Piece of Paradise, and Dj QwessCoast. The event will be hosted by KJLH’s Adai Lamar. Parking will be available throughout designated points in Darby Park. Free shuttle services from the parking lot to the venue will be available throughout the day. Shuttle schedules will be posted at the park.
