If you’re looking for a fun and festive way to spend your Saturday, then the Antelope Valley has the event for you. Tomorrow, June 8, from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Palmdale is hosting a Taco Festival. The Taco festival is being held at the Poncitlan Square which is located at 38315 9th St. E, in Palmdale.
The Taco Festival is being sponsored by the City of Palmdale, Waste Management, Trevino Law, Telemundo, Refi Snacks, Visit Palmdale, Pasantino Anderson, Anheuser-Busch, Bravery Brewery and Lucky Luke Brewery.
A wide variety of taco flavors, from traditional to unique will be readily available for purchase. Tickets to the festival cost $12.51. The festival will have a number of activities open to the public. Some of the activities include lucha libre, Aztec dancers, and a chihuahua contest. Additionally, there will be a Selena imitator and other live musical acts including Folkclorico Dancers, Mariachi, 7th Switch, Music & Kids, and Tierra Legacy along with Sal Rodrigues from the group Tierra.
