MOAH: CEDAR Center for the Arts is an art museum that highlights performance, education, and experimental studio practice. MOAH:CEDAR, located at 44857 Cedar Ave. in Lancaster, will host a workshop on April 7 to guide individuals in creating their own individual creative magazine. The Zine workshop takes place from 3 to 8 p.m. The next workshop will be held on April 21.

This workshop is a part of a series of workshops for children 12+ and adults. Workshops will take place on every first and third Sunday of the month. Participants will create their own personalized, self-published, and small-batch of magazines. Attendees will share their visions, draw inspiration, and produce work with supplies from the Andrew Frieder Creative Space. Several copies can be constructed to distribute to family and friends. All workshops are open to the public and free of charge.

A representative of MOAH:CEDAR said, “It’s a lot about giving people the tools to spread their ideas and creativity. Zine is one venue to do that. We like to inspire creativity in our youth. It’s about fostering creativity and making it accessible for the citizens of Lancaster. It’s an opportunity for people to share their vision.”

MOAH:CEDAR is open Thursday through Sunday from 2 to 8 p.m. For more information contact moahcedar@cityoflancasterca.org.
