Vet bills and pet necessities can be costly for many pet owners. Luckily there are resources available to those in need. For residents of Antelope Valley who are looking for pet resources this weekend, the Poncitlan Square Park in Palmdale, 38315 9th Street East, on April 28 is holding a free pet wellness clinic entitled Vet at the Park.
The free pet wellness clinic will offer a number of services for attendees. Services include exams, vaccines, microchipping, flea medications, deworming, and pet food. The event is free of charge and open to the public. Walk-ins will be allowed as time permits, on a first-come, first-serve basis.
In addition to the pet wellness clinic, The Poncitlan Square Park is located in the heart of the Civic Center and part of the Chimbole Cultural Center. The park is home to two acres of land, a water fountain, a gazebo, and a walking and jogging path. The park is open daily from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. Other events held at the park include summertime music and dance lessons at the park.
