“Game of Thrones” fans rejoiced as the show is returning on Aug. 21 to show the rise and fall of The Targaryen Dynasty in “House of Dragons.” To hold fans over until the show premiere, the Natural History Museum of Los Angeles County (NHM) and HBO Max have partnered to present a new, one-of-a-kind experience in a 2,500-square-foot exhibit.

Through Sept. 7, the exhibit at the NHM, 900 W. Exposition Blvd., allows visitors to explore the mythical world of Westeros, the Targaryen dynasty, and the dragons that ruled beside them.

Visitors will be able to experience the House of Dragons tour that features tutorials on the Valyrian language, original costumes from the show, and series memorabilia, including dragon eggs.

In addition, a replica of a new Iron Throne will be on display and available for visitors to sit on and take pictures.

Adult admission to the museum is $15 and children 3 to 12 years old are $7. Tour tickets are free with paid museum admission or free for members. Advanced, online tickets are highly recommended to ensure entry into the Museum and for special ticketed experiences. L.A. County Residents get free Museum Admission from 3–5 pm Monday through Friday. Tickets are available at the Natural History Museum ticket windows.
