A man in his 50s was fatally shot this week in Lancaster. Sheriff’s detectives are investigating the shooting as gang-related.
Deputies from the Lancaster Sheriff’s Station were called at 10:40 p.m. Monday to the 44200 block of Beech Avenue regarding a shots fired call and found the victim lying in the street suffering from apparent gunshot wounds, said Deputy Tracy Koerner of the Information Bureau.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
There is no suspect or suspect vehicle description at this time, Koerner said.
