‘Bedtime Stories’ coming to Palmdale Playhouse

The Palmdale Playhouse Summer Theatre Experience students will present a stage production of “Bedtime Stories (As Told By Our Dad) (Who Messed Them Up)” on Friday, July 29 and Saturday, July 30 at 7 p.m. at the Playhouse, at 38334 10th St. East.

When it is dad’s turn to tell his three rambunctious kids their bedtime stories, he gets fuzzy on the details and the classics get creative: A prince with a snoring problem spices up “The Princess and The Pea” while “The Boy Who Cried Wolf” cries dinosaur instead, and  “Rumpelstiltskin” helps turn all that pesky gold into straw. The audience may think they know these fairy tales, but not the way this dad tells them.

Tickets are $10 general admission, and $7 for seniors, students, military, and ages 12 and under. Family four packs are available for $25.

Tickets for all shows may be purchased online at www.PalmdalePlayhouse.com, or at the box office beginning two hours before each show. Please note that the Playhouse no longer accepts cash; Visa, MasterCard, and Discover are the only forms of payment accepted at the box office and concession stand.
