Pedro Pizarro, president and CEO of Edison International, joined Inglewood Mayor James T. Butts Jr. in celebrating the culture and accomplishments of the African-American community, and recognized community-based organizations with whom it partners in its mission to give back to the communities it serves.
The event, held at Rogers Park Community Center, saluted those companies championing clean energy space and align with SCE’s goals for diversity in suppliers and feature a panel discussion.
Awardees included : Diverse Business Enterprise awardee, Shamrock Gates industrial, LLC; Clean Energy Champion awardee, The Dorsey Group, LLC; and Community Partnership awardee, Faithful Central Bible Church.
