4th of July Fireworks Show
Come together with friends and neighbors for a unique gathering at the famous Seaside Lagoon in Redondo Beach celebrating community, country, family and friends. Live bands, all American beach ambiance with music from bluegrass to instrumental surf, largest community sing a long, D.J. Wynn Spins, dancing and much more. 4th of July Parade
The Huntington Beach 4th of July Parade has been called the biggest parade west of the Mississippi for Independence Day. The parade begins at 10:00 a.m. on Pacific Coast Highway at Main St. and travels up Main St. to Gothard St. Info:

Salute to America
Celebrate America and its heritage at a fun and festive Independence Day event starting at 6:15 p.m. for the entire family. Join the Starlight Bowl and The United States Air Force for an evening of entertainment filled with surprises. Flyover, the induction of new enlistees, United States Air Force Veteran Daniel Rutherford singing the National Anthem, Surfin’ USA, The Burbank Philharmonic Orchestra and a fireworks show. Americafest 2011
The biggest fireworks show in Southern California. Celebrate America with music, food and fireworks. A full day of safe and affordable family fun. Live entertainment by the Jan & Dean Show, the Drum Corps International, DCI Phantom Regiment, Mariachi Divas, and much more. 4th of July Parade
Santa Monica’s 5th Annual Fourth of July Parade on Main Street starts at 9:30 a.m. This year parade’s theme is “Fourth of July at the Beach” and the grand marshals are the Santa Monica Ocean Lifeguards, led by Captain Angus Alexander, a 31 year veteran.
The celebration continues in Heritage Square following the parade. Live music, food trucks, picnic on the lawn, dancing and more. The event is hosted by the Heritage Museum and the Ocean Park Association. Free. 2612 Main St., Santa Monica. Info:
