Los Angeles County election officials have begun mailing sample ballots to registered voters for the Nov. 3 general election, the Registrar-Recorder/County Clerk’s office announced today.
The sample ballot books contain information on candidates, measures and voting options, according to Registrar-Recorder/County Clerk Dean C. Logan.
Sample ballots will be mailed through Oct. 24, while Vote by Mail ballots will begin going out to all registered voters Oct. 1, according to the county. Election materials are available in English and 18 additional languages. Voters can request materials in their preferred language by
returning the Language Request Form included in the Sample Ballot Book or contacting the Registrar-Recorder/County Clerk’s multilingual assistance services.
The California Secretary of State is mailing the State Voter Information Guide separately, which provides additional information about the election.
