The Lancaster Museum of Art and History is showcasing Ann Diener’s work with an experience called “Art & Science Collide.” The exhibition will run through Aug. 11. The Lancaster Museum of Art is located at 665 W. Lancaster Blvd. The An artist’s talk and book signing will be included.
Diener is a fourth-generation Southern California farming family descendent and explores the transformation of her grandparents’ farm to suburban development. Diener’s work examines ecosystems generated by technology resulting in architectural and visual landscapes. Oftentimes, California’s food production can lead to environmental issues such as water shortages, flooding, soil erosion, and subsidence. Diener has a deep connection to the natural land.
