Create Noise Productions and Sister Dreamer Sculpture Park successfully brought together the Los Angeles community for an unforgettable Juneteenth Celebration 2026, drawing more than 900 participants for a historic Soul Train line celebration honoring Black culture, music, unity, and joy.

Held on Friday, June 19, 2026, at Sister Dreamer Sculpture Park in South Los Angeles, the free all-day celebration transformed the cultural landmark into a vibrant gathering space filled with music, dance, storytelling, film, and community connection.

The event featured live DJ performances, food vendors, local businesses, cultural experiences, community activities, family-friendly programming, community reflections and an announcement of an upcoming panel and free screening of “Stories of the Soul” on Friday, July 10, 2026.

The highlight of the day came at 3:00 PM, when over 900 attendees joined together in an extraordinary Soul Train line experience celebrating the legacy and influence of Soul Train and the power of Black cultural expression. The event united generations of dancers, families, artists, and community members in a powerful display of collective joy and history-making participation.

Attendees described the experience as emotional, historic, and deeply inspiring.

“To see all ages of people coming together to be a part of the history-making Soul Train line was phenomenal,” said Dane Lutcher.

“The energy level was off the scale. The love was flowing freely as the Autumn Breeze,” said Charles.

“It was a day that truly reflects the Essence of Soul Train…” — Charles Alvon “love, peace and soul… a family affair,” said Derek Fleming.

“Juneteenth is about freedom, resilience, joy, and honoring the generations who came before us while inspiring those who will come after us,” organizers shared. “This event was a reminder of the power of culture, storytelling, music, and community to bring people together.”
