The fourth annual Holiday Tree Lighting returns to the City of Santa Clarita, at The Cube, tonight at 7 p.m. for locals. The Cube is located at 27735 Smyth Dr. Families are invited to have fun in real snow with activities such as sledding; sleds will be available for use near the giant Christmas tree.
A live ice skating performance will also be available for guests by local ice skaters of the upcoming holiday skate show, “Disney’s Frozen Ice Holiday.” Santa Clarita’s mascot, Sammy Clarita, will also make an appearance after the skate show, as families can also participate in a public skate session after the holiday performances. Attendees can also take photos with Sammy Clarita, Kings Crew, and L.A. Kings mascot Bailey, who will also make appearances.
Current television broadcaster and former Los Angeles Kings player, Daryl Evans, alongside the Santa Clarita City Council, will also attend for the communal tree lighting ceremony.
