Disney has jumped on the fall spirit unveiling of their fall seasonal theme that features the Spirit of Día de Los Muertos. The brains behind the creation of this theme used the movie ‘COCO’ and Mexican culture as the foundation to create the star attraction of the fall favorite Plaza de la Familia which starts on August 23 and ends on November 2. Halloween Time starts on August 23 and ends on Halloween.
The purpose of this attraction is to show the audience the importance of family and how your bonds with them can shape your character. At Paradise Gardens in Disney California Adventure Park, guests will enjoy The Storytellers of Plaza de la Familia Celebrate The Musical World of Coco!, which will feature songs like “Remember Me,” The World Es Mi Familia,” and the iconic Mexican folk song “La Llorona,” among others.
Guests will also be pleasantly surprised at the decor done with both parks and the new attractions such as the Haunted House and the Oogie Boogie Bash – A Disney Halloween Party( Currently sold out), among many more fall favorite theme rides and musicals. Disney chefs have also created new dishes and treats to celebrate the fall season.
