Mark your calendars for the return of the Inkwell Book & Art Festival on Saturday, May 4, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. This free event will be held at Legacy Commons Park located at 930 E. Ave. Q-9, Palmdale.
Enjoy a day filled with engaging author talks, artist discussions, live music by The Company Band, Friends of the Library book sale, and story time and activities for kids. Come hungry, because we’ll have a variety of food trucks on site. Throughout the day, we’ll also offer raffle prizes that will leave you grinning from ear to ear.
“With 55 talented artists and authors planning to attend, the Inkwell Book & Art Festival promises something special for everyone,” said Palmdale Mayor Austin Bishop. “I encourage Palmdale residents to take advantage of this exciting opportunity to connect with fellow creatives in our community.”
Experience the process of creating art on canvas with an instructor-led activity. At the end of the festival, take home an 8"x10" masterpiece!
A highlight of the festival is the Inkwell Art Walk, a group excursion from Legacy Commons for Active Seniors to the AV Community Art Gallery and Palmdale Playhouse, where attendees can enjoy a Star Wars-themed exhibit, along with the “Girasol” exhibit by artist Marquise Grace.
Don’t miss out on this free opportunity to immerse yourself in creativity, support local artists and authors and enjoy a family-friendly day of artistic exploration.
