Mark your calendars for Aug. 4 as the City of Lancaster recognizes #NationalNightOut in conjunction with the BLVD Market.
This special event encourages police-community partnership and neighborhood solidarity.
National Night Out takes place annually in August and offers an opportunity to bring police and neighbors together to enjoy an evening of fun while observing crime and drug prevention awareness campaigns that support local anti-crime efforts.
Among many fun National Night Out activities, the city’s Public Safety team is hosting a dunk tank for charity. Be there for the summer fun in trying to submerge our Public Safety professionals for a good cause.
In addition, the city will be doing prize giveaways, including four bicycles. Officials are also looking for first responders and non-profits to be vendors at this event.
