Councilmembers Curren Price and Marqueese Harris-Dawson are co-hosting this year’s South LA Pride community picnic. After a two-year hiatus, this free family-friendly event will take place in-person Friday, July 1 from 3 to 10 p.m. at Norman O. Houston Park, 4800 La Brea Ave., near the corner of Stocker Street.
This year’s event is set to be jam packed with live entertainment, food trucks, vendors, games and more. Be sure to stay for a special awards ceremony honoring several local partners in the community that show their unwavering support for our LGBTQ neighbors.
