Compton Mayor Emma Sharif is partnering with the Rancho Dominguez America’s Job Center of California to host an in-person job fair from noon to 4 p.m. today, April 28 at 2090 E. Pacific Commerce Dr., Compton.
The in-person job fair will provide the community with resources and employment opportunities from resume feedback to on-the-spot interviews which can lead to immediate job placement.
Persons from the County of Los Angeles Workforce Development System and the Employment Development Department will be on hand along with hiring managers and representatives from Plenty Foods; the Los Angeles International Airport Police Department; Compton College; AltaMed; Barragan; Treston; and Goodwill.
