Atlanta elects new mayor, new council president, new council members

In a runoff race between Felicia Moore and Andre Dickinson, Atlanta elected Dickinson, although Moore was the favorite until the last week.

On Tuesday, Atlanta voters headed to the polls for multiple runoff races and elected a new mayor and city council president along with new city council members, reports WABE.org. Dickins received 61 percent of the vote. He becomes the 61st mayor of Atlanta.
