Train testing is continuing along the Crenshaw/LAX Transit Project alignment and residents, pedestrians, cyclist and motorists are encouraged to stop, look, listen and watch for trains before crossing tracks.
Recently, LA Metro and Walsh-Shea Corridor Constructors (WSCC) crews continued train testing in the southern segment of the project alignment, trying the signal systems through at-grade crossing for the first time and safely and successfully crossing at Arbor Vitae Street at Portal Avenue.
The train also crossed a bridge over Manchester Boulevard during train clearance and live wire testing.
WSCC expects substantial completion of the line in 2020.
