Do business in Belize and Central America


The 2016 Expo Belize Marketplace, organized by the Belize Chamber of Commerce—that nation’s largest private sector association—gives American businesses an opportunity to advertise their products and services to Belizeans during the largest trade show in this Caribbean nation.

The marketplace takes place Sept. 3-4 in Belize City, and the deadline to register to participate is Aug. 19. (send your products and information on your services; advertise your company in the U.S. Supplier Directory; obtain a customized contact list of companies interested in your product or service; post a full company profile on the U.S. Commercial Services website. Interested individuals can also go to the marketplace.

In addition to the Expo Belize, the International Trade Administration is organizing a trade mission to Central America that will include participating in Trade Americas-Business Opportunities in Central America Conference.

The trades mission takes place March 26-28 in San Jose Costa Rica, and give companies a chance to consult with U.S. embassies in Costa Rica, El Salvador, Honduras, Guatemala, Belize, Nicaragua and Panama.

Among the industries being sought are automotive, automotive parts, building products, construction equipment and machinery, design and construction and energy.
