With Caltrans construction work continuing near Los Angeles International Airport, two northbound lanes of
Sepulveda Boulevard will be closed overnight tonight, potentially snarling traffic for people trying to reach the
airport. The two northbound lanes will be closed from 11 p.m. to 5 a.m. from Imperial Highway through the
Sepulveda Tunnel, according to Los Angeles World Airports. All southbound lanes will remain open. Airport
officials urged motorists to use alternate routes, such as Century Boulevard, to avoid congestion. The closure
will accommodate Caltrans work on a damaged culvert in the area.
