The Congressional Black Caucus in its short history has basically been a bastion of progressive or liberal thinkers. Of the 42 members who can vote, their record collectively has been on a pro-socialistic direction. All of them are a part of the Democratic Party and will march with President Barack Obama’s agenda regardless of what harm it will do to Black Americans. The Republican Party has one person, Sen. Tim Scott of South Carolina.

School Choice Emerging as a Go-To Issue for African American Voters
With each election, political experts can look at various voting patterns by certain groups to determine which issues are important to those groups. For instance, among African American voters, it is clear that issues such as jobs, quality housing, affordable health care and education consistently are the most significant. Are Republicans ready to welcome Blacks?
Since the Republicans takeover of Congress on Nov. 4, I have received numerous emails and phone calls from many of my friends who are Democrats indicating that they are ready to join the Republican Party. My dilemma is that I am not quite sure the Republican Party is ready to receive them.
Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services
Making ends meet should not mean going without your medications. If you have limited income and resources, you may qualify for Extra Help to pay for some health care and prescription drug costs. Drug costs in 2015 for most people who qualify for the Extra Help program will be no more than $2.65 for each generic drug and $6.60 for each brand-name drug. What will you find during medicare open enrollment?
Your health needs change from year to year. And, your health plan may change the benefits and costs each year too. That’s why it’s important to review your Medicare choices each fall. Compare your current plan to new options and see if you can lower some costs or to find a plan that better suit your needs. Open enrollment is the one time of year when all people with Medicare can see what new benefits Medicare has to offer and make changes to their coverage.
Improved quality of Medicare plans and steady premiums are great news as open enrollment begins
Fall is a wonderful time of year. Changing leaves. Cooler weather. It’s also the season for people with Medicare to review their current coverage as open enrollment begins.

The Black vote is said to be the determining factor in whether the democrats hold the U.S. Senate. President Obama is on Black radio shows, and of course “Little” Al’s TV show, giving us the rundown on how important our turnout is to next month’s election. The democrats and republicans are outwardly admitting that the Black vote is the x-factor in this election. Isn’t it great to be wanted and needed, even if it is just for one day? All across the nation, Black is popular once again, all because it’s voting time.

White People Don’t
Time for the top 10 things White people don’t do—written for all my basketball teammates, friends, poets and the countless others who faced down racism’s evil. It should be stated for fairness that these only apply to some, not all, White people (WP).
