The City of Carson will maintain a communal spirit for locals as the holiday season rolls in. Carson’s annual Tree Lighting will take place tonight at 6 p.m. at the Carson Event Center, 801 E. Carson St. Families and all guests will be able to see live performances by creatives such as Aalom, Early Childhood Education, Ballet Folklorico Alma de Oro, and Enrichment Latin Modern Dance.
Members of the community will also be able to enjoy the feel of cold snow at Winterfest, which will take place tomorrow, Dec. 6, at Veterans Park, 22400 Moneta Ave. Children and families will be able to participate in activities such as sled riding and a snow playing area for younger children. Santa will also be available right along with food vendors, raffles, arts and crafts, bounce houses, and more.
The city is thrilled to invite local families to both events to encourage fun, leisure, and community as families and individuals have the chance to celebrate.
