March 8 on Pearblossom Highway

A woman killed in a fiery two-vehicle crash in the Antelope Valley community of Llano was identified earlier this week.

Vanessa Taylor was 56 years old and died at an overpass from blunt traumatic injuries, the Medical Examiner’s office said.

California Highway Patrol officers responded at 11 p.m. on Marh 8 to the collision on Pearlblossom Highway at 263rd Street where they found a white van and a sedan blocking one lane of the two-lane highway, CHP Officer Sergio Garcia told City News Service.

One vehicle flipped on its side and was in flames when officers arrived.

Firefighters and paramedics dispatched to the scene at 11:05 p.m. didn’t take anyone to a hospital, according to a Los Angeles County Fire Department dispatcher.
