At People’s Choice ceremony
Grammy-winning singer and actor Lenny Kravitz will receive a Music Icon Award during this month’s People's Choice Awards ceremony, during which he will also perform.

Kravitz is best known for hits including “American Woman,'' “Fly Away'' and “Are You Gonna Go My Way.'' He has sold more than 40 million albums and most recently wrote and recorded the song `”Road to Freedom'' for the Netflix film “Rustin.''
The Music Icon honor is in recognition of his “illustrious career and significant contributions to the music industry and the rock genre in particular.''
He will receive the honor during the People's Choice Awards ceremony set for Feb. 18 at the Barker Hangar in Santa Monica.
