The Lancaster Museum & Public Art Foundation and the Museum of Art and History cordially invite you to the 8th Annual Mother’s Day Tea. Enjoy the occasion at MOAH, 665 W. Lancaster Blvd., on May 13, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. for a luncheon, entertainment, and a private preview of our newest exhibition, “Sages.”

Sages highlights the work of nineteen Southern Californian artists who have not only created their own work, but have supported the growth of the arts itself. From mentors to teachers, these artists have cultivated a vibrant and influential community for the future generation of artists, creatives, and thinkers alike.

Inspired by the exhibition, we will be honoring artist, teacher, and poet Nicelle Davis for her work in our community and with young burgeoning artists.

Tickets are $45 per person and include welcome champagne, a special meal created by The Lemon Leaf, dessert, and tea provided by The Modern Tea Room. Accompanying the luncheon will be a performance from the locally renowned and award-winning choral group, The Sunday Night Singers. Proceeds from this event will be used to underwrite future arts and cultural programming at the City of Lancaster’s museums and public art spaces.

The Lancaster Museum of Art and History is dedicated to strengthening awareness, enhancing accessibility, and igniting the appreciation of art, history, and culture in the Antelope Valley through dynamic exhibitions, innovative educational programs, creative community engagement, and a vibrant collection that celebrates the richness of the region. The museum will reopen May 13. Learn more at www.lancastermoah.org.
