Gracefest event returns today to the Palmdale Amphitheater

The 12th annual GraceFest returns this afternoon and tomorrow to the Palmdale Amphitheater.  Today will feature Worship Night with renowned worship artist Jeremy Riddle with South County Worship and The Highlands Worship Band as openers.  Also keynote speaker Pastor Dave Macer, senior pastor of Passion Church, will appear on the main stage.

General admission is free at Worship Night but for seats up front in the reserved seating section tickets are $20 per person or $15 for a purchase of four or more tickets.  For general seating, bring lawn chairs; blankets and coolers are welcome (see website for guidelines).  Worship Night is from 4 to 8 p.m.

Saturday’s main event opens at 2 p.m. this year and closes at 10 p.m. GraceFest welcomes the number-one Christian Contemporary Music artist in the country, Mercy Me (“I Can Only Imagine”). Plus, rising star – gospel artist, Tasha Cobbs (“You Know My Name”), and favorite Austin French (“Freedom Hymn”), plus worship artist Ryan Ellis (“Closer”).

Local artists performing on the main stage include soloist Barbara McNairy and World Harvest Outreach Church’s WHCO Music.  Main stage schedule includes numerous presenters, speakers, and a surprise or two. For quick purchases, go online through the website, gracefestav.com.

To pay less in service fees, visit local selling outlets such as Butler’s Coffee in Palmdale, A.V. Harley Davidson, and Communities for Christ office (GraceFest headquarters) in Lancaster, see website for addresses.  Main event ticket prices this year are child/youth (6 to 17 years) $15, advanced ticket prices for general admission (ages 18 years and up) $35 each, and group general admission tickets are $25 each (purchase eight or more, near selling out).

Preferred seating tickets are $75 each and VIP tickets are available this year, (VIP Premium Gold at $100 and VIP Premium Platinum at $165.) Children 5 years and under are admitted free. General admission ticket price changes to $40 per person on day of event at gate (if available), all other ticket prices stay the same.

Featured speakers this year include Pastor Dave Macer at tonight’s Worship Night and Bishop Henry Hearns at tomorrow’s main event. In addition to the featured event speakers, numerous presenters will join the lineup including:  Kate Wedell from Cherished; Pastor Shane Idleman from 91.9 (GraceFest’s new radio partner); State Sen. Scott Wilk; Brandon Bailey VP of Prazor Music; and a special presentation by the new national ministry partner Save The Storks. GraceFest kid’s area has amazing numerous attractions this year like crafts, a dunk tank, potato sack races, sponge wars, new inflatable interactive attractions and more.  “The Zone” is the youth performance stage tailored to the interest of teens and young adults.  It features a great line up of national and local Christian artists including a special Q & A appearance by main stage artist Austin French.

An exciting feature this year is the new Artworld Stage on top of the hill.   Check out these local artists who bring expressive ministry messages through creative arts. The festival presents many other activities such as numerous vendors on the grounds and on the hill top, plus a huge raffle drawing; a large prayer tent with interactive stations; onsite prayer chapel; art walls for drawing on; food and beverage concessionaires, and opportunities to meet and greet some of the main stage artists.

Festival proceeds support eight local Christian school scholarship programs this year.
