There are champions and then there are superstars. Olympic gold medal gymnast Simone Biles comes under the extraordinary category. Despite dealing with the pain of a kidney stone and making two falls while competing last weekend, the 21-year-old won her fourth world championship.

The amazing young athlete won her fourth all around title at the World Artistic Gymnastics Championship in Qatar, despite falling during her routine on the vault and balance beam. But since her routines had the highest degree of difficulty, she still outpaced the competition. She has become the first woman to win four all around titles in history. Biles went on social media and actually apologized for the falls.

“Didn’t mean to give everyone a heart attack,” she tweeted. “I apologize. I won’t do that again.” Biles was diagnosed with the kidney stone, but waived off surgery until after the competition.
