Bowie State natives in Honda’s All-Star Challenge

Kayla Rayford of Bowie State University was one of three natives of  Southern California to participate in the 2017 Honda Campus All-Star Challenge among HBCU schools held in Torrance this weekend. Bowie advanced to the playoffs and finals but ultimately finished behind to eventual winner Oakwood University, shown on the right. The Oakwood team and Honda reps consisted of from left to right: Alexandra Warnier, manager, Corporate Social Responsibility, American Honda Motor Co. Inc.; Adrienne Matthews, Oakwood University representative; David Knight, Vice President of Student Services, Oakwood University; Rennae Elliott, coach of Oakwood University’s team; as well as members Sesly Huerfano, team captain; Olivia Campbell; Caleb Briggs; Joshua Nwaoha; and Steve Morikawa, Honda Vice President, Corporate Relations and Social Responsibility.
