Martin Luther King, Jr. Community Hospital, in association with the American Heart Association, is hosting a “Sidewalk CPR” seminar on Thursday, June 2 at no cost to the public. Trained instructors will provide “hands-only” instruction in 10-minute classes between 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. This is a non-certified class.

According to the American Heart Association, Hands-Only CPR has been shown to be as effective as conventional CPR for sudden cardiac arrest at home, at work or in public. Hands-Only CPR can double or even triple a victim’s chance of survival.
