The city of Palmdale is accepting registration for its girl’s softball program for girls ages 10-16 years.
The program will be broken down into two divisions: ages 10-12, and 13-16. Fees are $75 for Palmdale residents and $94 for non-residents. The fee will include a jersey, visor, picture package, practice sessions and 12 league games.
The season will begin on Saturday, April 9 with all practices and games taking place at Best of the West Softball Complex, 2723 Rancho Vista Blvd. Coaches will determine practice days and times.
The Best of the West Softball Complex is among the county’s most state-of-the-art recreation facilities. It features four 315-foot fenced and lighted fields, and an additional four 210-foot fields (fenced/lighted) along with covered dugouts and spectator seating, bullpens, and vendor and snack bar areas. Also, there are 20 acres of parking space (approximately 2,500 cars), oversized RV parking, and full restroom facilities. The complex is professionally staffed and offers daily field grooming and between-game maintenance/repairs.
