Assemblyman Tom Lackey (R-Palmdale) will host on March 4 a special Job Seeker Boot Camp in the grand ballroom of the University of Antelope Valley. The event will take place from 9 a.m. to 12:15 p.m.
Lackey will host the camp in partnership with the university. The first session will involve “Creating a Winning Resume, Selling Your Skills and Education;” the second part discusses “Interaction in the Workplace—The New Business Model;” the third “First Interview—What Your Social Media Says About You,” and the fourth, “Job Placement Options.”
A general question-and-answer session will take place from noon to 12:15 p.m.
