Honors at BBA luncheon

The Black Business Association presented its 8th annual Procurement Exchange Summit awards luncheon on Tuesday at the Sheraton Gateway LAX Hotel in Los Angeles. Among those receiving Outstanding Entrepreneur awards were William Hawkins, CEO of the Hawkins Co., left; Ken Davis, CEO, Maximize Communications Group, third from left; Ken Lombard, president, Capri Capital Partners LLC; Ron Taylor, second from right, president, Infinity Protection Services, and Brainard Simpson, owner and managing partner of Simpson & Simpson. Debbie Lumpkin, third from right, senior manager, supplier diversity and development, Southern California Edison, received the Supplier Capacity Builder award. Ken McNeely of AT&T, second from left, was event chair.
