LOS ANGELES (CNS)—Faced with a lingering budget deficit, the Los Angeles Unified School District announced Wednesday that many of its summer programs would again be cancelled this year, with summer school being offered primarily for high school students who failed classes and need to make up credits.
High school students who need the credit-recovery classes must register with their school counselor. Online programs will also be available through the district’s City of Angels School, according to the LAUSD.
