The American Red Cross Los Angeles region is responding to the Bridge Fire which broke out Sunday afternoon north of Glendora. Several mandatory evacuation orders have been issued.

We have opened shelters at Pomona Fairplex and AV Fair and Event Center. Anyone impacted by mandatory evacuation or pre-evacuation orders can seek refuge at the shelter. Red Cross volunteers are standing by to help provide for immediate needs, support, and information. Food, water, medical services, and mental health services are available at the shelter.

Shelter locations: Pomona Fairplex: 601 W McKinley Ave. Pomona, CA 91768. Evacuees should enter gate number 3, park next to the Sheraton, and then follow our Red Cross signs leading to Expo Hall 5.

AV Fair & Event Center: 2551 W Avenue H, Lancaster, CA 93536

The Hacienda Heights Community Center location has been moved to Pomona Fairplex and the Hacienda Heights Community Center is closed.

We encourage people who plan to stay in a Red Cross shelter to bring medications, extra clothing, pillows, blankets, hygiene supplies & important documents. Don’t forget to bring any special items for family members or children, such as diapers, formula & toys.

To find a Red Cross shelter, visit redcross.org/shelter or download the Free Red Cross Emergency App, available in both in English and Spanish.
