A 17-year-old boy was shot near Los Angeles High School Tuesday afternoon, according to police records. The shooting occurred at 2:47 p.m. near Olympic and Plymouth Boulevards.
“Officers arrived and found the victim on the ground,” said Karen Smith, public information officer with LAPD media relations. “He was transported to a hospital and died a half-hour later.”
