David G. Brown highlights Obama’s historical run

Award winning artist, educator and nationally syndicated political cartoonist, David G. Brown, has assembled his most popular editorial cartoons that have stimulated conversations in readers from all over the country since he began producing them in 2003. 
Brown’s cartoons are used by over 200 African American-owned newspapers who are members of the National Newspaper Publishers Association (NNPA).
He will soon release his latest project, Obama, Race and the Media: Drawing My Own Conclusions, a satirical collection of cartoons highlighting the historic presidential run of Illinois Sen. Barack Obama and other significant events affecting African Americans over the last five years. 
For more than a decade, Brown has inspired local youth, conducting workshops, presentations, and producing award-winning cartoons, graphics novels and comic books with positive messages for young people. 
Brown’s versatility as a commercial artist and producer has produced excellence in other areas including photography and multi-media. His personal client roster boasts promotional work for Los Angeles International Airport, Automobile Club of Southern California, Warner Bros, City of Los Angeles, Wells Fargo Bank, California African American Museum, ABC-TV, University of San Diego and others.
