A real nail biter

Knees are knocking, and a lot of bicarbonate of soda is flying off the shelves as producers, writers, and directors find out if they are on the chopping block or not. And television viewers are crossing their fingers in hopes that their favorite shows aren’t canceled. Indeed, it’s a tough time in television land and even more so for black actors and actresses because if they’re a part of a series that’s cancelled, they may be out of work for a long, long time.

You caught the news last night and it was enough to make your head pound.

More unemployment, fewer people able to pay their bills. Higher interest on credit, lower worth of the dollar. Bigger CEO profits, smaller paychecks for their workers.

Chances are, the economy is the reason for your naggin’ noggin and it’ll go away eventually. But for some, a pained brain is way more serious.

Hollywood, CA -- When a well-dressed woman wearing a coordinating well designed hat walks into a room, your attention immediately goes to the top of her head. You study the hat, how regal she looks in it, and then your eyes travel down the rest of her body, taking it all in, and you know that she knows…she looks good.
